Field Notes_Ivory Moore_30-March-2010

Thanks to Sunchai, I watched the first twenty minutes of a second oral history interview with Ivory Moore. Below are the field notes I generated for this segment of the interview. I think this interview will be helpful in establishing a more historical background for my project. Moore discusses the influence of the Black Panthers, and two different racially charged incidents on campus...within the first twenty minutes of video!

  1. Nice job on the notes! I’ve been working on my collation formulas for my descriptive bibliographies and it’s not going well. I am tempted to just place some of my handwritten notes up online, but I’m afraid only I would understand them. I didn’t think in terms of others reading it; however, I’m might also just take a best guess preliminary approach for the gatherings in my textbooks.

  2. I think it'd work for you to just post your handwritten notes, Sean. You are the primary audience for your work, and we are sure to get something from your notes even if we don't get exactly what you are able to.
